Affiliate disclosure
Wanderlane is free to read. We pay for it with affiliate commissions — and we think you should know exactly how that works.
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then book a hotel, a tour, an eSIM, or travel insurance, the company pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price — often it's the same price you'd get going direct, sometimes better. If you book nothing, we earn nothing. That's it.
What we link to
- Stays — Booking.com, Agoda and Hostelworld.
- Tours, tickets & activities — GetYourGuide, Klook and Tripadvisor.
- Getting around — 12Go (trains, buses and ferries in Asia).
- eSIMs & insurance — Airalo and SafetyWing.
Affiliate links open in a new tab and are tagged rel="sponsored" so search engines
understand them correctly.
What money does not buy
Businesses cannot pay to be recommended, ranked higher, or reviewed favourably. The restaurants and cafés we feature are chosen on merit — usually because we've worked with them or eaten there. A place being "Featured" never depends on whether it earns us anything (most of them earn us nothing at all).
This disclosure is here to satisfy the U.S. FTC's guidelines on affiliate relationships, and simply because it's the honest thing to do. Questions: hello@wanderlane.co.
